Hi, I’m Pujan. My interest in mechanical engineering started at home, working alongside my grandfather. After we moved houses, we spent a lot of time making small mechanical improvements together, whether that meant fixing things, upgrading simple systems, or just figuring out how to make everyday problems easier to live with. One project that really stuck with me was building a filter for our fish pond. The water had gotten dirty and we were worried about the fish, so we designed and built a simple filtration system ourselves. Watching something we made actually work and solve a real problem was exciting, and it was the moment I realized how much I enjoyed hands-on problem solving and creating things that had a real purpose.

I graduated from Northeastern University with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics, and I am continuing my education there with a Master’s in Engineering Management. I am especially drawn to product design because I love seeing how ideas come to life, starting as a rough concept or low-fidelity CAD model and slowly turning into a product people use every day without even thinking about it. That process of iteration, problem solving, and refinement is what excites me most. I want to work with like-minded people who care about the details, put real thought into their work, and believe in building things that matter. Seeing hard work pay off and knowing it impacts real people is what motivates me and what I hope to keep doing throughout my career.
